“Uggo” is an endearing term here, referring to the unsightly/unsettling appearance of my pieces compared the typical definition of attractive.
Uggo began when I found my passion for putting faces on things in a college pottery studio class. Since then, I have been making handmade prints, pots, and patches to bring a little joy to those who see and use them. All items are handmade in my home with a dash of merriment (often taking hours for each piece). No two pieces are alike!
My handmade physiognormic art mixes cute with unsettling human expressions through ceramics, textiles, and prints.
If you too love a little weird and a little whimsy, Uggo is the shop for you. If you like the vibe, but don’t see what you are looking for, contact me to commission a piece.
